About this project
GS12022 is a Gold Standard programme in Nepal that expands access to safe drinking water for households, institutions, and communities through installation of water purification systems. By replacing the need to boil contaminated water with firewood or LPG, the project reduces greenhouse gas emissions while improving public health. It supports Nepal’s goal of universal safely managed water access by 2030 and targets communities facing high risks of fecal contamination in drinking water.
