About this project
Yama is building Europe's first hybrid electrochemical direct air capture system integrating membranes and low-grade heat, reducing energy use by 65% and cost by 70% vs. legacy DAC. Our 2026 demo will remove 365 tCO2/year, followed by a 5 000 tCO2 plant in 2028 and a 36 000 tCO2 FOAK in 2030. Backed by pre-sold credits to Milkywire+Klarna, we've proven our process and are now scaling Europe's most energy-efficient and permanent CO2 removal pathway.
