Why pre-verification matters for carbon credit buyers
At pre-verification, an auditor has validated the project design and the project is operating, but its actual outcomes have not yet been verified. Risk is lower than pre-validation but delivery timing still depends on the verification audit. Pricing typically sits between early-stage forwards and issued spot credits.
