About this project
SUVIDHA, NNS and Sanjeevani together registered a CDM Project to build Biogas units on the plains and distribute ICS in the mid Himalayas where Biogas wouldn't work. 4,562 Woodstoves were distributed to 2,526 Pahadi women to cook with twigs/branches that blow in overnight from surrounding forests. After clearing 28% of ERPA commitment to a Bangalore based IT Company, they allowed us to sell the remaining credits and give 70% of carbon revenue to End Users.
